We have an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our high performing Sydney Metro team, driving business development and success across the region.

**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**
This is an exciting opportunity for a career driven and experienced **Area Sales Manager** to lead our high performing Sydney Metro team.

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, maintain, and leverage strong customer relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure products and services continue to meet customer requirements
- Lead, coach and develop all members of the external sales team to maximize their effectiveness by ensuring superior sales, technical and customer relationship building skills
- Build and execute collaborative regional business plans to drive sales growth
- Exceed sales and margin budgets through effective sales management and implementation of new sales strategies and procedures
- Conduct regular fieldwork to help develop the skills of sales team members and maintain regular frontline customer contact
- Review actual sales against budgets and taking corrective action against discrepancies
To be successful, you will have:
- Extensive experience within a similar role where your key focus was on people management, coaching and mentoring sales staff to ensure they are developing and meeting KPI’s
- Prior experience in client visits and consistently exploring new development opportunities
- Strong communication, collaboration and relationship building skills
- Strong business development experience especially with B2B sales coupled with outstanding negotiation and presentation skills to maximise your potential
- You will ideally come from a Sales environment that drives accountability and actively hunts new business within a similar industry
- A valid driver licence is essential
