Inventory Support Planner

**The Opportunity**:
Due to internal growth, our office in Wacol is looking for an Inventory Support Planner to work in our National Spare Parts Division. The purpose of the role is to maintain and improve inventory availability for Komatsu New Caledonia (KNC) and Komatsu New Zealand (KNZ) while maintaining customer satisfaction & control of total inventory value per financial budget requirements. The role also provides the National Inventory Support Manager backup to assist with domestic branch activities. Other responsibilities include
- Achieve fast-moving parts availability targets and reduce overall inventory value and financial Month on Hand reduction targets.
- Generate Purchase Order requirements using internal systems
- Conduct Sales & Operations Processes with inventory teams to create accurate demand plans for supply planning.
- Support in planning major rebuilds (Shuts).
- Collaborate with other Parts Supply Planners to achieve national KPIs in availability, Excess, and Inventory Value.
**Role Located**:Wacol, QLD

**Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Tertiary Qualification or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or similar preferred
- Self-Starter with demonstrated Inventory Management experience (min 2 years).
- Intrinsically motivated with proven time management skills to prioritise and deliver routine tasks
- Industry relevant product knowledge (desirable but not essential)
- High level attention to detail
