Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Capital Works Planning Coordinator to join Service Stream team
About the Role

Service Stream’s Utilities division, partners with SA Water to deliver reactive, planned and capital maintenance across the metropolitan network. To enhance the networks performance, this diverse 70/30 role will see you in the field, delivering hands-on technical support, as well as time in the office assisting in project deliverables.
- Partnering with SA Water to deliver customer and operational excellence
- Ongoing, full-time opportunity - 38hrs pw
- Combination of field work and office (70/30)

Responsibilities include:

- Facilitating access to the network, including isolation and recharge of the network, disinfection and permits to work
- Attend site visits, meetings and perform pre-work investigations
- Develop and review plans, action correspondence
- Respond & support incidents and emergencies
- Ensure work order apps; bespoke planning systems are accurately updated
- Create professional and effective working relationships with key stakeholders and SA Water
- Demonstrate and deliver all aspects of health and safety, quality and have a strong customer service ethos, representing Service Stream and SA Water in a positive way.

As a self-driven your success will come from:

- Full drivers’ licence - essential.
- White Card
- Qualification in engineering / construction or trade equivalent experience
- Hands on field experience (preferably in the water industry)
- Sound technology capabilities to adapt to bespoke apps and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work autonomously, proactive and a team player.

What we offer:

- Operating hours Monday - Friday 8am-4pm.
- Expected and remunerated out of hours work (nights and weekends) to accommodate DIT road works and business needs
- Tools of trade; including vehicle
