Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.
Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated **Scheduler** to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Adelaide.

- Identify and schedule critical engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning requirements
- Develop and maintain project schedules for early stage studies and execution
- Participate in project schedule risk analyses and include resultant contingency in schedule baselines
- Develop basis of schedule
- Assist project management by providing regular “look-ahead” schedule to assist work coordination
- Verify and record weekly progress achievement
- Continue to refine schedules, highlight concerns, and assist to resolve schedule issues
- Develop and maintain commodity and resource profiles
- Support the procurement and construction bid processes including provision of key vendor and contractor milestone requirement dates
- Assist with bid evaluation and ongoing vendor and contractor coordination with respect to their schedule commitments.
- Coordinate vendor and contractor schedule input to overall project schedule as required
- Support project trend and change management
- Support overall project progress reporting
**Ideally you will bring to the role**:
- Engineering degree or equivalent related experience
- Strong relevant post-graduate experience in a project environment with detailed knowledge of Scheduling
- Broad understanding of Design, Procurement, Construction, Estimating, and Cost Management functions
- Experience in multi-discipline execution projects environments from study to close out
- Broad business acumen including risk assessment and project management
- Facilitation, negotiation and report writing skills
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritise, take direction, and provide direction to others ensuring the quality of deliverables
- Excellent safety awareness
