**About the organisation**

Diabetes Victoria is the peak consumer body aiming to support, empower and campaign for all Victorians that affected by or at risk of diabetes, a disease that affects millions of Australians every day. The organisation is committed to minimising the impact in the community and helping those affected by funding medical research, advocating on behalf of those living with diabetes, offering peer support, educational resources and other programs and events.

**About the Role**

The Individual Giving Lead is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and delivery of the organisation’s appeals programs.

This role offers an opportunity to project manage two main campaigns a year, including the Tax and Christmas appeals. Your responsibility will be to increase fundraising revenue through fundraising campaigns.

You will project manage the appeals from end to end and oversee external agencies to design, print and mail. You will be comfortable managing multiple timelines and stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage, lead, and deliver the appeals program
- Effectively brief agencies and mail houses on appeals
- Manage general donations
- Work with external agencies to brief, edit and finalise appeals
- Manage strategy of digital campaigns
- Manage marketing material
- Work with Media & Marketing teams to prepare e-newsletters, media release information, photo opportunities, supporter stories and fundraising campaigns
- Work with Community Fundraising Lead to provide research information for e-newsletters
- Assist the Manager in budget development for the retention and appeals program
- Monitor program performance, monitoring and analysing
- Lead all donor journeys across the Individual Giving Portfolio
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies including mail, production, digital and design

**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to design and deliver on campaigns end to end
- Excellent ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships both internally and with external agencies
- Demonstrated experience in data segmentation and data-driven decision making
- A background in delivering inspiring campaigns across channels
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated experience managing relationship with external agencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in budget development and management
