The role
The Individual Giving Specialist is responsible for coordinating and delivering direct marketing campaigns across cash appeals, regular giving, and donor retention programs. You will take a hands-on approach to managing campaign timelines, data, creative, and suppliers to ensure high-quality execution, strong donor engagement, and the achievement of fundraising income targets.
In this role, you will help shape donor journeys by delivering personalised communications, meaningful stewardship, and data-informed decision-making. With a strong eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement, you will monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and provide insights to help grow donor lifetime value. This is a permanent full time role and is based at our corporate offices in South Brisbane.

Key criteria
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications with a major in one of the following fields – Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media or equivalent level of experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience in related role.
- Demonstrated experience in individual giving fundraising, direct marketing, or related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Experience briefing and liaising with suppliers on campaign requirements, including receiving quotes and ensuring requirements are met on time and within budget.
- Excellent computer literacy skills, including experience in using a CRM database to support fundraising activity.
Desirable
- Experience in a nonprofit, charity, or social impact organisation.
- Familiarity with digital fundraising platforms (e.g. Funraisin, Raisely, Marketing Cloud, Campaign Monitor).
- Understanding of donor/supporter behaviours in a mass fundraising context.
