**About the role**: Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting the newly created position of Procurement Manager to develop our procurement function and strategy. This is a key role within our Business Operations & Assurance team, and can be worked from our Melbourne, Brisbane, or Adelaide offices. **What will you be involved in**: - Establishing a procurement function to progressively develop Nova Systems’ procurement and supply chain management capability, including associated policies and systems (such as Oracle ERP). - Collaborating with the Finance, Commercial & Legal, and Security & Technology Services teams to ensure effective capability implementation. - Governing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services, initially focusing on corporate procurement activities. - Establishing, managing, and assuring supply chain approval, including legislative compliance. - Leading the development of an Indigenous Procurement Plan (IPP), building upon extant Major Service Provider (MSP) indigenous procurement activities. **What we expect from you**: - Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain an AGSVA clearance. - Tertiary qualifications in procurement, engineering, law or similar. - Experience developing and implementing procurement/supply chain management strategy, policies, and processes within a technical/complex environment. - Working knowledge and experience of supply chain related legislation, including the Australian Modern Slavery Act. - Strong negotiation, relationship building, prioritisation, analytical, time management, and written and verbal communication skills **Nova’s Value Proposition; Beyond the pay cheque**: - Flexible ways of working and dress for your day - Commitment to Professional and Personal Development (up to $5000 per year) - Reward & Recognition Program offering exclusive discounts from hundreds of major retailers, helping you to save on groceries, petrol, holidays and more - Additional Leave entitlements include Reserve Leave, Loyalty Leave, Parental Leave and Purchased Leave - Wellbeing Hub with access to health and fitness content - Employee Assistance Program for employees and family members - Access to Defence Health and Travel Insurance - Novated Leasing and Salary Sacrifice - Nova Employee Share Offer - An inclusive and supportive culture - A range of other great benefits, just ask us To apply, submit your resume using the "upload resume" function in **PDF Format **(only).
