- Carl Stephen We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join a FMCG manufacturing business based in Melbourne that has a global footprint. As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing of key materials and services to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identifying, sourcing, and negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best quality materials and supplies at the best prices.
- Managing relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies, and resolving any issues that arise.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify their procurement needs and ensuring that they are met on time and within budget.
- Conducting market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and new suppliers.
- Managing the inventory of materials and supplies to ensure optimal levels of stock.
- Analyzing procurement data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of goods throughout the supply chain.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
