Reporting to Head of Procurement & Financial Governance, the Manager of Procurement will manage the CFA procurement function and drive the implementation of contract management framework, through providing expert leadership and strong project management capability. The Manager of Procurement will take ownership of the implementation of innovative solutions and best practice, reviewing and managing opportunities that deliver Government Procurement Initiatives, and will be hands on in shaping the broader Procurement team.
Key to your success in this role is your experience as a procurement expert and people leader, with a proven ability to drive continuous improvement to support an organizational strategy. You will have demonstrated experience with managing large or complex procurements in line with VGPB guidelines. You will be hands on in your approach to providing management, innovation and strategic direction to your team and stakeholders across the organisation. Public Sector/Statutory Authority experience and CIPS Certification will be very highly regarded.
