The Social Media Manager is a key internal role for Compare the Market who is a passionate ‘social first’ champion. You will work with internal business units, external agencies and key platform relationships to drive and manage Compare the Market’s performance social media channels. With a keen eye for "scroll-stopping" content and messaging you will live and breathe social performance combining eye-catching campaigns with topical messaging striving for the most engaging fin service brand on social. As an advocate for all things ‘social first’, you’ll be at the forefront of driving and managing our performance driven social media channels. Reporting to the Head of Social Media, you will be the mastermind behind content curation, overseeing paid advertising campaigns, staying ahead of social media trends, and analysing metrics to fine-tune our strategy. **What You’ll Do**: - Drive engagement, traffic, and conversions by devising and executing robust social media strategies across all platforms. - Oversee paid performance channels, from budget allocation to campaign optimization, ensuring meticulous tracking and reporting of performance. - Foster collaboration with internal teams and external agencies, guiding the creation and delivery of integrated social media campaigns. - Shape messaging and creative direction, overseeing design and animation processes. - Uphold Quality Assurance standards and maintain relevant certifications or qualifications required within the financial services sector. - Dive into campaign performance data, extracting insights and offering recommendations for enhancement. - Keep a finger on the pulse of industry trends and best practices in social media marketing, staying ahead of the curve. **What You’ll Bring**: - Extensive hands-on experience in proficiently managing Performance Social Media accounts. - Demonstrated proficiency across various Paid Media channels such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. - Possess strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen, with a track record of effective budget management and team performance enhancement. - Sound understanding of the financial services industry and insurance products. - Proven experience in collaborating with agencies and effectively managing external partners. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong analytical capabilities with a knack for interpreting data to drive informed decision-making. - Exceptional organizational skills, adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects concurrently. - Familiarity with digital media analytics software, including Google Analytics, is advantageous. **Our Benefits** At Compare the Market, we offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment where your talents will be recognised and rewarded.
