The Transport & Freight Plan Optimiser forms part of the operational team responsible for transportation planning. Within the team, the Transport & Freight Plan Optimiser will function as first point of contact for order creators. As the Transport & Freight Plan Optimiser you will focus on the transformation of freight units to freight orders while meeting predefined constraints including source and destination shipping schedules, requested delivery dates and planning cut-off times.

All freight order creation activities performed by the Transport & Freight Plan Optimiser should fulfill the objective of building actionable and mode-optimal transportation plans. This role is based in Rhodes.

**Deliverables**
- Build actionable load plans for successful execution by warehousing and hauling service providers
- Perform load planning in a timely fashion -promptly generating visibility to planning exceptions as they arise
- Organize and consolidate seemingly disparate transportation demand into mode-optimal freight orders given inputs from upstream supply chain partners, specifically targeting the vehicles/methodology that can be further optimized
- Act as point of contact for STO order creators
- Following up with Suppliers, Agents, receiving markets to ensure that cargo reaches on time
- Back up for Supply Planner

**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated resilience to change
- Previous experience with physical logistics
- Extensive interaction with Transport E2E operations
- Deployment objectives
- CSA objectives
- baseline understanding of materials produced/shipped
- 1-2 years of supply planning experience
- Exposure in managing product availability versus the need to minimise costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location at the right time
- Has had experience in daily supply execution from order creation to Order ATP for local Market supply
- Ability to support Customer Order Fulfilment levels for domestic and Inter-Market Supply (IMS) customers within the Working Capital and Freshness objectives by ensuring that the weekly planning process is executed on time
