The Transport and Freight Plan Optimiser is a crucial member of the transportation planning team, serving as the primary contact for order creators. With a focus on transforming freight units into freight orders, the Optimiser ensures that all activities align with predefined constraints such as shipping schedules, delivery dates, and planning cut-off times. The goal is to create actionable and mode-optimal transportation plans, making the Optimiser an essential driver of efficient and effective logistics operations. **This is a 12-month contract, with the chance of being extended or made permanent based in Rhodes.**

**Deliverables**
- Drive stock freshness and minimize damages through negotiation with supply markets. (PNG, Fiji, NC, and FP)
- Conduct root cause analysis of damages and propose solutions.
- Ensure on-time execution of Materials Handling and Physical Logistics transactions.
- Manage NPI parked and blocked/GR/IR issues due to transport and freight conditions.
- Compile and own NPI SC reports for business planning process.
- Optimize container utilization to reduce freight costs.
- Communicate and build relationships with PL/MH teams in supplying markets.
- Drive stock damages and claim process with DSP team and supply chain representatives.
- Ensure visibility and communication on container utilization.
- Ensure on-time creation of master data and effective communication to DSP.
- Present NPI SC reports in monthly MBP process.

**Skills and Experience**
- Background in freight and transport management is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, able to effectively convey daily plans.
- Collaborative team player, able to work closely with others.
- Highly logical and analytical approach to processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP Planning tool.
- Demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge successfully.
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Strong desire for continuous improvement and implementation.
