You demonstrate strong ability to lead and influence people to deliver a pro-active, agile and efficient logistics operation in an omnichannel retail environment. You adopt a strategic, tactical and operational approach for analysing business opportunities and have the desire to identify and implement optimal ways of working. Through your leadership you can develop leaders and co-workers whilst providing a great working environment and delivery business goals and results. For this role will require you to be available to work a mix of shifts including late nights as well as one in three weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).

**Responsibilities**:
As Logistics Manager you work closely with other members of the management and commercial team to optimise the logistics operations. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Secure high customer satisfaction at lowest possible cost in a multichannel scope for goods availability and customer order fulfilment.
- Using strategic direction and business plan goals to develop and implement a clear logistics plan for your store with your logistics team. You ensure this plan is clearly understood by your team and that they know how they can actively contribute to achieving its goals.
- Drive, optimise and secure an inspiring customer shopping experience with commercial team partners and other functions, through ordering processes, space and capacity planning, physical goods flow, supporting product change activities and replenishing sales spaces in a cost-efficient way.
- Creating the store’s business plan based on global and national priorities, and local market needs together with your colleagues as a member of the store management group.
- Accountable for identifying, recruiting, retaining and developing talents in the Logistic department to secure a diverse, competent and high performing team to secure future succession.

Together as a team

Together the Logistics team are behind the scenes that make sure IKEA products are always readily available to the many people. We use our supply process expertise to balance range and space capacity with forecasting and ordering to provide customers with high availability while minimising costs. This is one department always challenging effective and efficient ways of picking up the products for our customers all with the end goal of working together to improve the customer experience at IKEA.
