Fleetwood Urban is looking to further strengthen our QLD Delivery Team by adding an additional Project Assistant We are looking for someone young, energetic, and ready to learn, to help deliver on our growing pipeline of inspiring public space projects.
- Assisting with procurement of materials and subcontractors to complete project works
- General commercial administration and document control as well as assisting with WHS and QA systems
- Assisting Site Manager with general site duties where required including setout, pre-assembly and installation
- Assisting with monthly financial reporting requirements, managing of subcontractors and client payment claims
- Assisting with Requests for Tender including preparation of scopes of work and ensuring clear schedules of responsibility
- Analysis of subcontractor quotations and preparation of internal recommendations
- Fostering a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork are paramount.
- A willingness and enthusiasm to learn all aspects of our operations
- Proficient computer skills
- A sound understanding of construction practices
- Previous site experience would be advantageous. Ideal role for someone with a trade background.
- Be outcome focused with efficient communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Some demonstrated ability to work with people both in a team and autonomously
- A customer focus, exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills; and
- Knowledge of the local area and surroundings.
- Experience or familiarity with construction contracts would be advantageous
