**About the role**
Working as a senior leader in the Consumer & Property team, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do, with your primary responsibility to deliver exceptional customer experiences working with our customers and leading teams of our people.
This role is an integral part of the business, driving transformational growth in sales across all our consumer channels. It requires strong commercial acumen, a deep understanding of the consumer base and the competitive market, and an ability to drive sales results and compliance performance.
Key responsibilities include
- You’ll play a key leadership role in creating & executing strategies that drive transformational growth in acquisition of new customers and retention of existing customers across all of our consumer sales channels (Inbound, Outbound, Third Party, Digital)
- Develop and execute strategies that drive sales results across the '7 C's':
- Ensure Compliance across all sales interactions
- Drive Conversion rates across all channels
- Deliver outrageously good Customer experience
- Drive multi-product growth through Cross-sell and upsell of additional products and services
- Manage Cost to acquire to budget and find opportunities for efficiencies
- Ensure Channel consistency of experience for customers
- Expand Channel choice for customers by exploring opportunities and developing new sales channels and partnerships.
- Prioritise internal resources to maximise results across Inbound/outbound activities to maximise share and value opportunities across all products (electricity, gas, broadband, HomeAssist, LPG)
- Manage commercial relationships with market Intermediaries to ensure Origin is well considered through all intermediary channels
- Ensure all activities are compliant with all relevant National and State compliance and regulatory requirements, as well as Origin's standards and expectations of customer experience
- Maximise digital conversion by prioritising investment in customer experience, journeys and offerings in the various digital assets (website, MyAccount)
- Provide leadership and help teams of diverse groups to identify a common higher purpose, take a principled approach to leadership, inspire and coach others to live them accordingly
**About you**
You will demonstrate the ability to make decisions quickly, implement change effectively, and deal with uncertainty and ambiguity. You will have the ability to determine appropriate processes necessary for getting things done and possess a deep understanding of sales competencies and coaching for performance.
More about you
- 5 - 10+ years’ management experience and experience leading leaders of leaders
- Significant proven experience in energy industry or other utilities/telecommunications/banking industries
- Degree qualified (e.g. Business, Sales & Marketing, information technology)
- Exceptional business and commercial acumen, demonstrated understanding of issues associated with management of customer segments
- Strategic thought leadership, demonstrated ability to facilitate innovation, develop strategies and plans and implement new ideas
- Continuous improvement focus to drive business outcomes, ability to develop appropriate metrics and reporting, and create a risk and compliance culture
