WiseTech Global is a world-leading software company building software for the global logistics industry. We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Software Asset Specialist to join our team in Sydney.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing our ICT software and licensing, ensuring compliance, optimizing our software environment, and driving cost savings across WiseTech Global and its subsidiaries.

**As a Software Asset Specialist, you will**:

- Ensure software licensing compliance with all commercial and non-commercial agreements and regulations.
- Maintain and contribute to the development of our ICT Software Asset Management system.
- Manage vendor entitlements, renewals, and renewal schedules, while engaging with key stakeholders.
- Develop, enhance, and promote SAM and Cloud guidelines and processes.
- Conduct regular audits of the SAM system and its supporting data sources to ensure quality and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for software consolidation and rationalization.
- Manage internal and external software audits, minimising risk exposure by ensuring organizational compliance.
- Provide customer support for software licensing, acquisition, and management within a small team of specialists.
- Help reduce software and support costs by implementing optimization strategies, including identifying opportunities to eliminate, decommission, or reallocate underutilised licenses.

**What you'll bring**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in information technology, business, or computer science, and/or relevant industry experience.
- Certifications in ITIL/lifecycle management/Software Asset Management or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrable experience in Software Asset Management.
- Exposure to cloud cost management and value realization.
- Experience with Software Asset toolsets like Flexera/SNOW, Ivanti, XenSAM, Licenseware, Certero is preferred.
- Enterprise-class software licensing experience (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Citrix, VMWare, Adobe).
