About the role
- Document, manage and curate the IT software assets to ensure that licenses are well managed, reviewed for accuracy, paid in a timely manner and are re-used / allocated correctly.
- Coordinate effective administrative processes around software asset lifecycle management and assist in driving a culture of process and savings improvement.
- Documentation is created to encourage understanding of the software assets, key stakeholders, business purpose and function.
- Work closely with the IT Category Lead and the team to track and monitor PO's, receipting, and invoice processing.
- Establish and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships, including participation in supplier evaluation and selection and assistance in contract execution.
- Relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated experience working in software asset and licencing management, technology procurement or IT service management and in building / maintaining vendor relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal customer service and stakeholder management skills, including demonstrated experience in providing expert advice and recommendations and in building effective collaborative professional relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with proven attention to detail and a track record of contributing to process improvement.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Desirable experience using PeopleSoft or similar finance information systems, together with proven excellent Microsoft Office skills including intermediate / advanced Excel experience.
