Technical Specialist

A great opportunity presents for a talented and self-driven professional experienced in the supply (and sales) of industrial safety products (personal protective equipment, safety workwear and footwear) products to join our team of Technical Specialists. Reporting directly to the Team Leader, and supported by internal expertise, this position will see you supporting our sales organisation in the delivery of exceptional customer value and solutions across existing and new customers through your technical expertise.

**Day to day this position will see you responsible for**:

- Delivering safety product (personal protective equipment, safety workwear and footwear) category sales support from product identification to customer solutions through joint activity with account managers and/or suppliers.
- Maintaining an opportunity pipeline (incl. CRM), performance reporting, and providing key market and customer insights.
- Delivering technical expertise and product knowledge support (incl. training) to our sales and customer service teams.
- Building, developing, and fostering existing and new customer relationships by leveraging your technical expertise and product knowledge to identify and deliver solutions to their everyday safety product (personal protective equipment, safety workwear and footwear) needs.
- Providing quote and tender response support including product recommendations.
- Contribute to cross function projects and initiatives.

**Separated from others by your**:

- Proven track record in delivering technical expertise across the safety product (personal protective equipment, safety workwear and footwear) categories
- Ability to manage competing priorities and delivering outcomes
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to build positive and effective working relationships across functions
- Desire to be face to face with customers delivering technical solutions
- Comprehensive Microsoft office skills
