The Opportunity

Samsung Electronics Australia is looking for a Product Manager to join our Display team. The Product Manager - Memory position is responsible for the product management of Samsung Electronics’ Memory solutions including SSD, Portable SSD, SD Cards and USB within the Consumer Electronics division. They will champion their product category to ensure execution of go-to-market strategies and the establishment of long-term sustainable growth.

Role and Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of all product lifecycle steps including product & market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, exit strategy and go-to-market strategy.
- Cross-collaboration across major groups including Operations, Product Development, Business Development, Global Sales, Marketing, Finance and Services
- Contribute to identification, evaluation and recommendations of marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives including leading customer or market driven product proliferation projects
- Preparation and submission of product forecasts in collaboration with sales teams

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful for the role, you should have a "can do" attitude with a proactive approach. Relevant experience / skills include:

- Preferred experience in Retail or FMCG desirable
- 3+ years of experience in product management or project management
- Proven track record in driving positive business outcomes
- Background in B2C channel preferred
- Experience in working with cross functional teams (marketing, PR, sales )
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a strategic plan with excellent project management skills
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
