
Sales Specialist

The role will need to work collaboratively across both LSEG and Fair Supply and also with colleagues in Account Management, Propositions, Finance, Lead Generation, Pre/Post Sales, the wider Sales Specialist teams, Commercial Policy and channel partners.
This role requires the ability to navigate a complex, challenging, and ever evolving SFI market that requires creativity, focus, tenacity, and the willingness to learn from both clients and colleagues. You will be responsible for creating awareness, being a deep functional and regional expert helping to grow the market in line with a sales quota.
The role initially will focus on the corporate market opportunity and will expand beyond this as the solution and regulation evolves.
Role Responsibilities
- Create a pipeline of opportunities for TCFD sales across the region and work with Lead Gen and sales team to manage the opps and mature them through the sales cycle process.
- Work closely with the broader Sales Specialist team’s to help structure, negotiate, and close TCFD deals.
- Work with teams across LSEG and Fair Supply to develop the solution in line with regulatory and market updates and promote this to existing and prospect clients.
- Accurately forecast sales pipeline and sales activities in Salesforce with a weekly, monthly, and quarterly focus
- Provide insights and share LSEG and Fair Supply thought leadership on their propositions with customers and act as an advocate and spokesperson both internally and externally.
- Build strong relationships with important internal stakeholders and align sales execution plans to maximize customer satisfaction and sales success
- Develop and maintain communication with a strong focus on collaboration to all levels of staff and customers
Skills required
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent
- Strong financial markets knowledge with solid understanding of how different market participants interact and connect.
- Strong knowledge of Sustainable Finance and/or investment workflows, Specifically TCFD and climate regulations across the region and a strong personal and professional interest in this space.
- Strong network of clients, colleagues and market participants in SF&I in region.
- Good understanding of usage of technologies and requirement for financial data within financial institutions
- Solid knowledge of regulatory drivers (specific to SFI) and their impact on financial services
- Proven track record working in a solutions environment - supporting and/or selling - Identifying opportunities, listening, questioning, developing value & articulating propositions using customers’ language and demonstrating customer benefits as part of the sales pitch
- Possess a strong sales ‘closer’ mindset, with proven track record in successfully supporting complex customer situations or in hitting and exceeding sales targets
- Experience in engaging and negotiating with business stakeholders at a senior level i.e. heads of desk
- Sufficient technical know-how to engage constructively with heads of technology, infrastructure and operations
- Creative thinker and ability to generate new ideas
- Strong presentation skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to organize and execute a sales plan
- Over 5 years of industry, sales or market experience
- Fluent English
- Role will be based in the Pacific to align to Fair Supply head office and local leadership.
- Will report into regional Asia SFI Sales Director with a dotted line and responsibility into Fair Supply
