**Role Overview**

Assisting and reporting directly to the Chairman, this critical role is responsible for daily translation support to the Chairman in face-to-face meetings and events, online meetings and in written form.

Providing these services will require the individual to have their own transportation and to work flexibly across the week including occasional evenings for events and weekends if required.

In addition, the Junior Executive/Translator may support the Chairman and his Executive Assistant in administrative duties including presentation preparation, report writing, managing projects and assisting in the Chairman’s daily activities.

The role requires a high degree of autonomy, efficiency and commitment to providing personal support to the Chairman, along with completing translation tasks with a high degree of accuracy and in expected timeframes.

This person will also need to have strong interpersonal skills and professional presentation to represent the Chairman at important events and meetings.

**Skill, Knowledge and Experience**

An organised and detail-oriented individual who possesses tertiary qualifications in business, finance, human resources or marketing is essential for this role.

This person must be fluent in written and oral Mandarin Chinese and English communication with the ability to effectively interpret and translate between English and Mandarin Chinese. The Junior Executive/Translator will have advanced Microsoft Office skills, project and people management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
