**About the Role**

As the Digital Marketing and Communications Officer, you will support the delivery of key communications, content and digital marketing activities to support the awareness and advocacy of AEF education programs. You will assist with the design, creation and implementation of dynamic and engaging content, collateral and copy for online social media, EDMs, website, blogs, articles, and occasional print publications, as well as associated campaign design, calendars, scheduling and posting. Data-driven communication activities, improving efficiencies, growing audience reach and ongoing engagement are key aspects of your role.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist with the development and implementation of targeted marketing and communications content for national and international education audiences
- Ensure the AEF website is updated and maintained including information on current programs, events, blogs, articles, and digital assets
- Develop and maintain network databases through eNews, CRM information and image libraries for associated events and programs

**About You**

Along with your demonstrated ability to draft a wide range of copy for marketing communications, you will have proven interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders. You will also have experience assisting with growth of engagement and audience reach through a range of marketing and communications channels. You will be team focused and support team members with communication and marketing activities.

You will also have:

- A digital marketing or communications degree with relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training
- Demonstrated ability to assist with the creation and implementation of marketing and communications campaigns including assisting with creating design briefs, drafting copy, creating collateral and assets in line with branding guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to work across a range of digital platforms and tailor content, copy and strategies appropriately for each platform
- Proven experience in creating digital content with Adobe Suite and/or similar software packages for a range of media channels, including graphic design, images and videos
- Ability to plan marketing calendars, ensure engagement, monitor and report on data
