Dance Store is Australia’s largest online Dance Store. Located in Logan Village it employs 10 staff with a wide range of skills, qualifications, and experience. Our customers vary from retail and small business to large international clients. We supply our products Australia wide including many regional areas.

There will be a three month probationary period.

The role of Purchasing Officer supports the operations team by ordering all products, liaising with suppliers and internal customers, and ensuring we have the right products at the right time. In this role, you will handle a variety of other tasks that ensure operations runs smoothly.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Forecasting and ordering items to meet customer requirements

Assist with the ongoing inventory maintenance to effectively ensure accuracy of item pricing, stock quantities and preferred suppliers.
- Liaise with Suppliers for pricing and tracking of orders, following up back orders as required.
- Source alternate Suppliers as required.
- Create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure product is high quality and delivered on time.
- Entering all customer purchase orders.
- Receipting in ordered items and communication with sales and warehouse staff.

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in Purchasing is preferred.
- Good computer skills, including excel.
- Positive and can-do team player.
- Strong attention to detail required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-21 per week

**Salary**: $50,743.00 - $60,285.00 per year
