You will enrich the customer experience by providing positive, meaningful and relevant suggestions and referrals to help us create a city everyone can enjoy.

Some of the things you will see yourself doing with us are:

- Providing professional customer service in our call centre.
- Providing occasional face-to-face customer service at our front counter.

I started in the Customer Centre as a Customer Service Representative which allowed me to gain knowledge of the wide variety of services council provides to the community. There are always innovative projects and exciting events happening in the City of Adelaide, and working in the Customer Centre means finding out about everything that is going on. I am now in the role of Community Engagement Support Officer, providing support to different areas of council to consult with the community on a variety of future projects. ~ Amy

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction in a customer service environment.
- Previous call centre experience would be highly desirable, however we would also love to hear from you if you have fast-food, hospitality or retail experience too
- Demonstrated ability to plan and operate efficiently, and under pressure to complete work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage challenging clients and situations tactfully and sensitively, and sound numeracy skills.
