**About the Role**:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Compliance Support Officer** to join our team. This is a **full-time**position, based at our Woden location. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our services comply with all relevant regulatory and legislative standards. As a Compliance Support Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring compliance and safety regulations, supporting the delivery of high-quality programs, and ensuring that the service is operating in line with industry best practices.
**In this role, you will**:
- Ensure all programs adhere to WCS’s policies and procedures, as well as relevant standards and regulatory requirements, including funding body guidelines.
- Perform regular service compliance audits and report findings to the Team Leader, Corporate Quality and Risk.
- Offer support and expert advice on compliance matters to services and team members.
- Assist services in preparing for, and attending, external compliance audits and Children’s Services Assessment & Rating visits.
- Provide high-quality and timely compliance reports as requested, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry standards, maintaining professional knowledge to ensure continued compliance.
- Actively participate in team meetings, organisational activities, and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Contribute to ensuring that internal policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Follow the WCS Work Health and Safety Policy and Procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and service users at all times.

**Compliance Support Officer***:
**To be successful for this role, you must possess the following**:
- Demonstrated experience with interpreting and auditing against standards and legislation.
- Strong organisational and time management skills including the ability to manage competing and/or changing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- Proven team-oriented approach, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and coordinate information flows within the team and with other business areas.
- Knowledge of National Quality Framework (NQF) and Aged Care standards.
- Experience with report writing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in, or the ability to rapidly learn relevant software, tools, and industry-specific technologies
