**Role Title**: Client Engagement Manager
**Role Description**: We are currently seeking two Client Engagement Managers to join our tightly knit team of professionals on a permanent basis. Perhaps you've been in a Client Engagement or Business Development role, or Account Management, and are looking for the next opportunity.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Identify and pursue business opportunities in existing and new areas within DFAT or Department of Home Affairs
- Manage and build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders - Conduct site visits and meetings with clients and staff
- Prepare responses to tender and quotation requests
- Identify and assist with the recruitment of qualified staff and subconsultants in conjunction with our Recruitment partners and supply chain companies
- Maintain our contracts and trusted client relationships to secure repeat business and growth
- Prepare correspondence and reports
**Essential Requirements**:
- Demonstrated Client Engagement/Account Management experience
- Strong experience and established networks in National Security environments. Previous DFAT or Home Affairs experience would be highly regarded.
- Strategic and financial acumen
- Highly developed communication skills
- Strong and proven client relationship building skills
- A proven record of working collaboratively as part of a team
- Hold and maintain an NV1 security clearance
**Desirable Requirements**:
- Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset (highly desirable)
- Proven operational sales experience (Highly Desirable)
- Experience in the use of Customer Relationship Management platforms
**Required Security Clearance Level**:NV1 preferred. Or BASELINE with ability to upgrade to NV1
**Location**:Canberra ACT
**Weekly Hours**:40 Hours per week
