**Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Manager**
- Federal Government Department
- Contract opportunity initial contract until 30 June 23 with 2x6 months extension option
- Open to Australian Citizens with Baseline clearance

The Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Manager will support the team lead of the Engagement team, of the client to manage and coordinate stakeholder engagement by connecting with internal and external stakeholders and working together to further enhance the Group's relationship with stakeholders.

**This includes the following activities**:

- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to assist with technical and / or process specific issues and managing escalations
- Develop presentations and be involved in, at times independently, presenting complex concepts to senior executives
- Facilitate webinars for a large variety of external and internal stakeholders
- Create executive reports and summaries with the intent of drawing out insights that may or may not be related to Cyber Security, Service Delivery, IT Service Management, Organisational Change Management, Quality Assurance, client issues management and other functions as they relate to stakeholder management
- Use soft skills to de-escalate situations that may be related to client interactions with the government department
- Take pride in undertaking and delivering to a high quality a variety of new tasks that may not be part of your core skill set by using:

- Highly developed soft skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Clear, concise and articulate verbal communication skills
- Conflict management skills

**To be successful in this role, you should have**:

- Demonstrated experience and high-level communication skills dealing with a broad range of stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to engage with stakeholders and build effective relationships. Including report writing, giving presentations and developing stakeholder engagement plans.
- Proven ability to communicate with influence, negotiate outcomes, resolve conflicts and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Competent working in the context of Information Technology environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.

**It is desirable if you have**:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (business, management, legal, commercial, information technology)
- Experience in working within the public service environment incorporating project, service delivery and supplier management.
