Welcome to Melbourne North Truck Centre, the latest addition to the extremely successful Hallam and Bayswater Truck Centres. As a full-service Kenworth and DAF Truck dealership, we offer new truck sales, parts, and mechanical servicing, proudly serving the North of Melbourne, including Somerton and Ballarat territories. Currently operating from our interim location on Hume Highway in Somerton, we are eagerly anticipating the completion of our state-of-the-art dealership in 2028 in Mickleham, which is set to revolutionise the truck sales and service customer experience in Melbourne.
About the role
We are seeking a Parts Interpreter to fill a full-time position based
The position requires the ability to sell truck parts to our customers via the front counter, in person or over the phone. You will be the public face of our large spare parts business, so you will have a good work ethic and a desire to deliver 10/10 customer service to our customers. Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service to our existing and new customers
- Handling all parts sales and enquiries
- Processing of all orders efficiently and accurately with a right first-time mentality
- Preparing detailed and accurate quotations for parts supply
- Promoting and upselling of all products
- Working Saturday mornings on a rotating roster and an ability to pitch in with some overtime that may be required from time to time

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in automotive spare parts interpreting and or warehousing preferred but not essential
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High level of computer literacy and ability
- A good mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
- Friendly, positive, can-do attitude
