**About the opportunity**:
**Daimler Trucks Somerton **is seeking an experienced **Parts Interpreter** who is dedicated, enthusiastic and looking for a new challenge in the commercial vehicle parts industry. The parts department operates as a close knit-team and depends on the reliability and extensive knowledge of all team members.

This position involves responding efficiently and effectively to all customer and workshop enquiries and interpreting van and light truck parts, whilst delivering an exceptional level of customer service.

**About you**:
**To be successful, you will have the following**:

- A minimum of one year plus in interpreting spare parts
- Previous experience as a parts interpreter or a similar role in a fast-paced retail parts operation
- Good mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills
- Be reliable and punctual with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- A strong customer service focus and work ethic
- Sound administrative and organisational skills
- Be a self-motivated team player with excellent time-management skills
- Full rights to work in Australia
- A valid Australian driver’s license and your own means of transport
