National Leasing Officer

**Partnered Health are seeking an experienced National Leasing Officer for a permanent Full-Time position based at our head office on Melbourne Street, North Adelaide.**

The National Leasing Officer will assist the Head of Property in actively managing our large portfolio of Leases and Subleases while ensuring strong relationships are maintained. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for new site acquisitions, Lease and Sublease negotiations and ensuring optimum commercial terms are achieved.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Engage in lease and sublease negotiations, renegotiations, closures, surrenders and assignment of Leases and Subleases.
- Develop and maintain excellent Lessor and Sublessee relationships.
- Complete new site acquisitions in a timely manner.
- Manage a portfolio of subleases, look for opportunities to maximise use of space in sites and increase revenue.
- Assist the Property Finance Officer in ensuring Sub Tenant rent arrears are followed up regularly and subtenants rent is paid and up to date.
- Lease administration including reporting on critical dates and keeping systems updated.
- Advertise space for Lease through relevant portals.
- Supporting the National Project and Facilities Manager with lease interpretation and landlord engagement in respect of maintenance obligations and approvals for works.
- Timely responses to handling of all emergencies within company guidelines with Managers to minimise liabilities (i.e., criminal activity, injuries, fires, floods, all insurance claim matters, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with all lease commitments and obligations, in accordance with relevant state and federal legislation.
- Establish effective working relationships and high standards of customer service with all stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years' experience within a similar role within the property sector or corporate sector. Healthcare experience preferred.
- Good working knowledge of property management and commercial leasing in the health sector preferred.
- Property related degree or related discipline required.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation experience and understanding of operating/legal provisions enumerated in lease agreements.
- Demonstrated understanding of commercial lease terminology and applicable legislation across all states and territories
