We have a unique opportunity available to join our Opal Packaging Plus sales team in Sydney as a Territory Account Manager. This role will suit someone who wants to develop and grow their sales skills and ability, working with a sales manager and team who will guide and coach you to achieve success in this role.
In this role you will develop relationships and manage an existing customer portfolio, and there will also be opportunity for you to hone your business development skills and seek opportunities to win new customer business.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Having the passion and desire to grow and learn within our sales team
- Be a good listener and be open to feedback on your approach
- Having strong communication skills and natural ability to start a conversation
- Demonstrating the ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally

- A desire to develop your career within sales and account management
- The drive to achieve results and be persistent and resilient
- Previous experience dealing with customers; for example that could be a customer service role, retail sales, recruitment or any role that’s needed strong communication skills
- Self-motivation, initiative, and good listening skills
- The ability to understand the needs of the customer and provide solutions
- Plenty of energy and enthusiasm
