**Great Opportunity for Warehouse Supervisor at Asian Food company in Melbourne**

**Responsibilities**:

- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and directions
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of Occupational Health and Safety, hygiene, and security of stock
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Prepare annual budget
- Prepare defective reports to brands
- Liaise with stores, suppliers, freight forwarders and transport companies
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Manage weekly supply chain to stores
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers for defective
- Liaise and negotiate with forwarders for logistics
- Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments
- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
- Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate warehouse team
- Plan work rosters, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Operate with and perform preventive maintenance forklift and/or palette jacks

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators(KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability to manage team
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
- Certification and experience in operating Forklift
