Warehouse Supervisor

Our client is in search of a dedicated and dependable Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in a cold storage warehouse situated in the Northern Suburbs.
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead and oversee warehouse teams, specifically focusing on Pickers and Loaders. You'll actively participate in ensuring the proper and safe receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of products including a variety of pre-packaged meat and dairy products. Your role includes upholding company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
**Responsibilities in the role**:
- Supervise employees to maintain food safety standards and OH&S compliance through policies and procedures.
- Provide orientation and training for warehouse staff, giving feedback on performance and methods.
- Address employee inquiries, concerns, and promote positive relations.
- Monitor operational adherence to company rules, safety, and accuracy protocols.
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, shipping, and compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain documentation for attendance, productivity, safety, and regulatory compliance.
**What you need to have**:
- Proven warehouse and logistics experience, including stock and food products handling.
- Familiarity with warehousing and transport KPIs.
- Proficient in operating high reach, double deep forklifts with valid license.
- Practical knowledge of Warehouse Management System and cold storage software.
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and teamwork.
