Job Description

- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inventory control and dispatch scheduling.

- Coordinate transport and distribution activities to meet customer requirements.

- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

- Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff to optimise performance.

- Monitor and report on key operational metrics.

- Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient solutions.

- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Warehouse Supervisor should have:

- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in warehouse supervision within the transport and distribution industry.

- Hold a valid forklift licence.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Solid understanding of logistics processes and inventory control systems.

- Excellent drive, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards.

- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and tools.

- Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
