The Boeing Airpower Teaming System is a new uncrewed aircraft using artificial intelligence to be that force multiplier. It’s designed to work as a smart team with existing military aircraft to complement and extend airborne missions. The Airpower Teaming System will provide capability to not only meet today’s requirements, but with sufficient flexibility to satisfy emergent needs as well; all with a low-cost design that allows operators to place it on the front line. Designed and built in Australia, the program is breaking new ground by creating a range of new capabilities as a part of Australia’s next generation of military aircraft.

We are seeking a highly skilled **MQ-28A Factory Test and Configuration Control Manager** to join the ATS Production team to verify that the airplane is built and is operating in accordance with engineering design.

**About the role**
- Drive safety initiatives and cultural change by striving for zero injuries as part of our Incident and Injury Free and “Go 4 Zero” culture
- Manages employees performing activities within the functional test and configuration control disciplines focusing on safety and quality
- Manages the execution of integrated plans, policies and procedures and provides input to team and company strategies, goals, and objectives
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Project schedule, resource and risk management

**About you**
- Bachelor of Engineering degree with 8 years' + experience in managing complex aerospace manufacturing or test projects
- Experience with managing a team to deliver complex aerospace assemblies and/or testing electrical/electronic systems
- Familiarity with engineering change and configuration control processes
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management
- Direct experience leading projects and implementing engineering initiatives and projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse multidisciplinary team with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery and customer satisfaction
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to engage, influence and negotiate at all levels with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and customers
- Experience with change management and demonstrated ability to continually identify and drive the implementation of technical and business improvements and new opportunities
- Experience with technical management of defence projects highly regarded
