We are now looking for a Configuration Manager/Controller to join our business in Melbourne, Victoria

The Configuration Manager/Controller position is responsible for configuration management activities of the IFV Materiel System, including the Mission and Training Systems.

As a Configuration Manager/Controller, your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing of Configuration Management CDRL documents including CMP, CSAR, and BSC.

Preparing and participating in Configuration Management meetings and workshops as required.

Preparing and participating in contracted Mandated System Reviews (MSRs) as required

Assuring compliance to configuration management policies and maintain robust materiel system configuration baselines

Managing the progression of engineering changes within Land domain’s configuration management tool.

Supporting the development and updating to internal management plans including the Configuration Management Plan.

To be successful for the role of Configuration Manager/Controller you will need:
Demonstrated proficiency in executing tasks within a Configuration Management framework.

Experience in Configuration Management processes and Compliance with L400 Program Legal & Probity requirements

Demonstrated ability to learn to use Configuration Management tools.

Experience in developing and reviewing Configuration Management artefacts and documentation.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

Confidence and self-motivation.

Whilst not essential, experience in the following is desirable:
Knowledge and experience in Defence Projects, the Defence Capability Life Cycle, and Defence Configuration Management process

Knowledge and experience in ASDEFCON contract suite, and proficiency in reviewing Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) documentation

Experience with using Configuration Management Tool - Land (CMT-L)

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance. Current security clearance is preferred.
