**The Role**
The B vehicle Regional Fleet Manager is required to:

- Coordinate the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance to allocated materiel logistics platforms and systems in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Monitor, analyse, develop, implement and maintain materiel logistics plans, processes and procedures related to the maintenance support system for allocated systems.
- Provide advice and support to the materiel logistics team to maintain the effectiveness and efficiency of the maintenance support system for allocated systems.
- Draft responses to complex correspondence, briefs and reports for higher delegate consideration.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with team members and actively participate in team work and group activities.
- Work collaboratively, operate as an effective team member and provide constructive feedback.
- Investigate and resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of actions.
- Interpret and comply with legislative, policy, regulatory frameworks and organisational objectives.

**About our Team**
Material Maintenance within Joint Logistics Unit - South, is responsible for varying levels of Defence

Land Material maintenance in the South Australian region. You will be part of a commonwealth team

consisting of a peer group of technical managers and logístical support personnel.

The maintenance facilities and workforce are supported by Australian Industry Partner contractors

including personnel managers, technical administrators, trades people and warehousing personnel.

All members work in a cohesive shared environment with a reputable team and customer focused

culture.
- A thorough and progressive understanding of vehicle fleet management principles whilst adhering to budgetary requirements.
- Experience using Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to enhance Work Order management and trend analyse to optimise fleet availability, to support vehicle fleet management.
- Strong stakeholder focus and will require direct liaise with customers, suppliers and the maintenance contractor.
