We are seeking experienced Receptionist and Student Services Officers to join our supportive and community-focused workplace. To be successful in this role, you are a people-focused receptionist with exceptional customer service skills. You will be a key member of the administration team providing effective and efficient support to ensure the smooth daily running of the organisation.
**About the Cairnmillar Institute**:
The Cairnmillar Institute is a not-for-profit registered health promotion charity that has been providing high-quality professional education and accessible psychological services to promote the community's psychological well-being for over 60 years.
Cairnmillar is now one of the largest trainers of postgraduate psychologists and counsellors in Australia. We offer an excellent range of clinical services, postgraduate programs in psychology and counselling, and short courses and professional development for the broader community.
**The role**:
As the Receptionist and Student Services Officer, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth daily running of the organisation. You will be responsible for a range of customer service duties to both staff and students, including but not limited to communicating with students in line with Institute policies and processes and attending to their enquiries ranging from course information to academic outcomes and information on available student resources.
- Undergraduate qualifications and/or relevant experience working in a university, an RTO or other higher education setting, psychology clinics, and/or the charity and NFP sectors
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-level customer service and making students, staff and key contacts and their needs a priority.
- Demonstrated administrative skills and ability to organise and coordinate administrative functions.
- Demonstrated ability to work with administrative systems and databases.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate both formal and informal information in a range of contexts.
- Knowledge of Institute policies, systems, processes and procedures and how to adapt these at the Faculty level.
- Strong computer skills and technical literacy, experience with specialist databases or Student Management Systems, advanced user of MS Office software (including Excel and Word). Working knowledge of software programs (SharePoint, Office365).
