Verde Clinic is dedicated to an integrative medicine approach with a focus on multimodal pharmacotherapy and natural therapies. We aim to solve complex medical conditions by combining conventional and alternative treatment methods. Our goal is to provide holistic and personalized care to our patients, ensuring their overall well-being.

Verde Clinic is a growing and busy practice, boasting 3,000+ active patients since the establishment of the physical practice in February 2025.

Our doctors have subspecialised in natural therapies and bioidentical HRT hormone prescribing, and we are progressively increasing the repertoire of services provided. We currently operate six days a week, with consideration of expansion to seven day a week operations.

Role Description

This is a casual on-site role for an experienced Medical Receptionist at our Mount Hawthorn clinic, for immediate commencement.

The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for handling appointment scheduling, managing phone calls, performing general receptionist duties, and managing Medicare billing. The Medical Receptionist will report directly to both onsite and offsite managerial staff, as well as answer to doctors' instructions for doctors operating onsite as well as offsite on telehealth.

Verde Clinic utilises cloud-based Xestro Practice Management Software and a number of bespoke software solutions to facilitate day-to-day operations. The clinic has well-established workflows and standard operating procedures. On-site training will be provided for software and patient engagement expectations, though proficiency is as a medical receptionist is presumed and expected.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and Phone Etiquette skills
  • Experience in Receptionist Duties and familiarity with Medical Terminology
  • Ability to maintain a well-organized Medical Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and a customer service-oriented attitude
  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is a plus

The Ideal Candidate

  • Unrestricted work visa subclass
  • Previous experience in a medical reception role
  • Basic First Aid (BLS) and Mental Health First Aid certification
  • Experience with Xestro Practice Management Software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365
  • Proficiency with Medicare Billing for General Practice
  • Touchtyping 70-100wpm
