Medical Receptionist

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment.
2. Answer phone calls promptly and handle inquiries, directing calls to the appropriate staff.
3. Scheduling of patient appointments, managing the diary to optimize the doctors time efficiently.
4. Collect and verify patient details correctly.
5. Process patient payments and ensure any documentation is completed and filed accurately.
6. Maintain records and files ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and confidentiality are met.
7. Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area.
8. Handle any additional administrative tasks as assigned by office management.
**Qualifications**:
1. Previous experience as a medical receptionist or similar role within a healthcare setting.
2. Proficiency in Best Practice and Microsoft.
3. Excellent verbal and written skills.
4. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
**Skills**:
1. Detail oriented to ensure accuracy in patient records and scheduling.
2. Problem solving abilities to address patient inquiries and resolve issues tactfully.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week

- Hawthorn East, VIC 3123: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
