Student Services Officer

Support student success by ensuring the smooth delivery of administrative and student support processes for current students in psychology and counselling programs at Cairnmillar.

The Cairnmillar Institute is seeking a Student Services Officer to join our Student Services team. This pivotal administrative role supports the delivery and coordination of psychology and counselling courses, with a strong focus on current student administration and support.

You'll work closely with students, academic staff and other professional staff to ensure effective operations across all enrolment-related processes. As the first point of contact for student enquiries, you'll play a key part in creating a positive student experience, maintaining essential records, supporting compliance, and contributing to the ongoing success of our student experiences.

This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with people, and has a commitment to student support and service excellence.

The successful candidate will have:

· A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience/training)

· Experience in an administrative role within higher education (ideally in psychology or counselling)

· Experience using Student Management Systems and other office software

· Excellent organisational and time management skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

· Strong attention to detail, initiative, and adaptability

· Commitment to Cairnmillar's values and providing excellent service
