**The Role**
The Employment Procurement Branch is seeking dynamic people who will contribute to a variety of projects, while working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders. This may include working on projects with strict timelines, drafting process documentation, contributing to papers and briefs, development of planning documentation to support procurement activities, undertaking procurement processes, undertaking quality assurance activities, and supporting program areas.
There are a number of positions available across the branch. Outlined below are the duties associated with the roles.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Assistant Directors lead a range of project activities related to employment services procurement, which may include:
- Managing, coaching and developing staff
- Creating documentation for the executive and minister to support purchasing activities
- Overseeing administrative and secretariat staff to ensure liaison with stakeholders is effective
- Managing the development and maintenance of project documentation such as project status reports, project management plans, project schedules, and risk, issues, and change registers
- Oversee the implementation of IT and property changes to support large-scale projects
- Identifying risks and related mitigation strategies to support the work of the branch
- Managing communications including overseeing hotline staff and developing advertising products
- Finalising advice and guidance materials to support procurement and related activities
- Implementing processes, procedures and tools to support the delivery of high-quality employment services procurement projects
- Providing reports on the evaluation and review of progress against milestones
- Overseeing input to a range of procurement project tasks such as probity compliance, assessment, debriefing, procurement administration and support, related training and provision of related advice.
