About the Role
The Associate Midwifery Unit Manager (AMUM) works collaboratively with the Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) of the Women and Birthing Unit at Redland Hospital. In supporting the MUM, the AMUM provides leadership and direction to Midwifery staff and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of safe, quality and cost-effective midwifery care consistent with contemporary standards and best practice of the Women and Birthing Unit. The role will assist in workforce development and management, foster clinical governance within the service and promote a positive culture.
