Our client is a retailer specialising in mid - high end fashion garments. With over 10 retail stores across Australia, they are continuously growing their team.

This role requires an individual who is passionate about the fashion industry and who speaks quality. You must be highly creative and technical. You must have an eye for fit and have the ability to provide advice options on construction and cost effectiveness.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed technical specifications, tech packs for initial styles
- Coordinate fit sessions
- Manage Quality Control & Assurance and QC process of garments
- Ensure sample requirements, measurements, fine details and timelines are met
- Create costing sheets
- Liaise with factories, makers, and other stakeholders

**Skills and Experience**:

- 3 + years’ experience within Garment Technology / Product Developer role
- Experience working with high quality garments
- Highly technical with sound knowledge of garment construction, specifications, grading, and quality assurance
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of garment construction, fit, specs, fabrications, shapes, and trims
- Strong communication skills and must have the ability to clearly articulate fits and commentary
- Experience communicating with vendors and suppliers
- Strong time management skills and thrives within a fast-paced environment
