**Now Hiring** | Loved by Australian Influencers, fashion bloggers and more this eCommerce fashion success story is seeking a talented Garment Technician to join their team based in their Marrickville based Head Office.

We are looking for a talent individual, who has an in-depth knowledge of garment configuration with 5+ years of experience and a genuine awareness of current trends.

**Role description**
- Measure samples for design and production.
- Attend fit sessions with design team and correctly convey and design, make and fit changes to suppliers for SMS and production samples.
- Checking and updating product technical drawings ensuring garment construction methods and trims are accurate.
- Updating BOMs and POMs for handover to production.
- Maintaining consistent sizing & fits
- Improve on make and finishes, when necessary, within target price.
- Photographing and recording all fit sessions and uploading imagery to server and relevant tech packs. Maintaining the fit photo library.
- Manage preliminary fabric testing, review and record results in digital fabric library ahead of production handover.
- Assist Production with measuring PPs and size sets, checking size, trims, colours and finishes are correct for bulk production.
- Work closely with Design and Production to ensure effective workflow according to the critical path.

**What are we looking for?**
- 5+ years minimum experience in a similar womenswear role
- Tertiary education in Design/Pattern making is essential
- Extensive knowledge of fit, garment construction and fabric bases
- A genuine awareness of trends and the ability to incorporate this into fit sessions
- In depth knowledge and experience in fabric testing and quality assurance
- Strong organisational skills to adhere to critical path deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment within a small team
- Tech pack and garment spec knowledge is essential
- Illustrator skills are preferable
