Manager, Strategic Procurement

**About the role**

An exciting opportunity for a well-versed procurement professional to join our Strategic Procurement team. As the Manager, Strategic Procurement, you will play a key role in delivering procurement advisory services, governance, and support across the organisation. This position focuses on implementing the Strategic Procurement Framework and governance across our business. By collaborating effectively with stakeholders, you will ensure procurement activities deliver value for money while aligning with corporate objectives.

**Key responsibilities will include**:
Providing support and guidance on procurement activities, including the development of procurement strategies and effective implementation of processes.
- Developing strategic sourcing pipelines and category plans using spend analysis to identify and deliver cost reduction and value creating opportunities.
- Assisting with the implementation of strategic ESG initiatives.
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of procurement activities across the organisation, including tracking cost savings, efficiency metrics, and other key reporting indicators.
- Supporting audits and enhancing existing procurement tools, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Developing and delivering high-quality procurement training sessions and presentations.

**About You**

This position is perfect for a seasoned procurement professional who is passionate about working with stakeholders, maximising business value, and enhancing efficiencies. With strong stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities, you are likely to meet the following criteria:

- Tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Finance or Law.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing and procurement strategies, with the ability to provide solid advice and guidance to inform business decisions.
- Strong analytical skills and experience owning a category of spend, developing cost reduction and supplier rationalisation strategies.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
