Do you have experience in retail operations and business outcome initiatives? If you're looking to enjoy a highly diverse role, working for a major shopping centre owner, or operator then this position could be your next move.

Working alongside the experienced retail centre manager, your role will focus on improving revenue outcomes for the centre, you will do this by driving business units and supporting the broader team.

- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, drive positive relationships with a wide array of tenants.
- With a strong commercial mindset, what is the return on the investment of time and cost?
- An understanding of the retail operating environment; knowing best practices to get the best results for retailers and their customers.
- A sincere interest in the retail operations industry and your passion will power your success.
- An understanding of retail leasing and operational administration is helpful, though not entirely essential as training can be provided.
- A creative mindset and a solutions approach to issues, what is impacting retailers, and how can the centre better support them for mutual wins?
- With an eye for marketing and sales, how can you impact centre outcomes with creative and catchy events or initiatives?
- A natural communicator both verbally and written, having great communication skills will strengthen bonds and improve relationships.
- Being confident in your approach and assertive will be particularly helpful if you need to enter into any dispute resolutions or collection of rental arrears.
- Flexibility, this role encompasses so many facets of the centre; you'll gain experience across a wide array of the day to day operations and you will have your input valued.

The role is to be based in Canberra, five days per week and is based on-site for these days. It is expected that very occasionally you may be rostered for a Saturday or a Sunday for a few hours; though this will be credited to you to use as a full day's leave to suit you and your commitments.

It is essential to have an unrestricted right to work in Australia, be it through citizenship, permanent residency or an unrestricted work visa. This position comes with a base salary of up to $110k plus super, plus a discretionary bonus for the right person - the salary will match your experience.
