**About the role**
As a Fluid Power Sales Engineer, you will be required to potentially work across a variety of industries from the rail, industrial, marine, OEM and renewable energy sectors. The core focus of the role is to service existing distributors, end user and OEM group of clients. Providing technical support, sourcing new opportunities, projects and technical system upgrades and facilitating product, component and system sales.
**Duties**
- Pursue fluid power sales opportunities
- Provide technical product support and source information for client’s questions
- Assist with systems commissioning and troubleshooting
- Prepare cost and project estimations
- Work to a defined sales and territory plan
**Skills and Experience**
- Have a trade, engineering, mechanical, electronic or fluid power motion control background
- Posses a track record of self-motivated technical field sale success
- Have sound, detail written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoy being hands on with site and product presentation
- Have a sense of urgency with strong forward planning skills
