**Role Description/Criteria**

**Role Description**

Applications are invited for an experienced Learning Support Officer to commence as soon as practicable. This is a a fixed term position. Hours are 9am - 3.30pm, 5 days per week.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities to provide support under the direction of teacher(s) or leader(s), to student(s) and will embrace a team-based approach to their role.

**Special Requirements**

Applicants must have a current Working With Children Check and National Police Check.

Ideally the successful applicant will have experience working with students with a wide variety of learning needs. Applicants with experience working with students with ASD would be highly valued.
