**About Our Client**:
Our client is a well-established automotive service and repair franchise with a strong presence across Australia. With a commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction, our client has been a trusted name in the automotive industry for over two decades. As our client continues to expand their franchise network, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee operations in Queensland.
**Position Overview**:
As the General Manager for our client in Queensland, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with their franchisees. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with business partners, providing strategic guidance, fostering a sense of community, and contributing to the growth and success of the our clients brand. Additionally, you will have a significant influence over the performance of the Profit and Loss (P&L) across the business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Franchisee Support**: Collaborate with franchisees to ensure they are equipped with the tools and knowledge to operate successful and profitable businesses. Offer ongoing support, guidance, and mentorship.
- **Business Consultation**: Work closely with franchisees on a business level, offering strategic insights and solutions to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer service, and drive business growth.
- **P&L Management**: Exercise a significant influence over the performance of the P&L, working with franchisees to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and overall financial success.
- **Relationship Building**: Foster a sense of community among franchisees, creating a supportive network where ideas and best practices can be shared. Facilitate regular communication channels to strengthen relationships.
- **Recruitment Assistance**: Assist franchisees in the recruitment process, ensuring they attract and retain top talent for their teams. Provide guidance on hiring strategies and best practices.
- **Brand Consistency**: Uphold and reinforce our clients brand values and standards across all franchises. Ensure consistency in service quality and customer experience.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Proven experience in a management role within the automotive service or dealership industry - desirable but not essential.
- Strong understanding of franchise operations and business management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience in recruitment and team development.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and optimise the P&L of a business.
